Things continue to zoom forward at an amazing rate as we move closer to the first annual TEDxSinCity. New speakers have been confirmed, among them Dave Logan, author of The Three Laws of Performance and Tribal Leadership. As well as Nathan Otto and Amber Lupton authors of Give Peace a Deadline. Sponsors are coming on board and people are getting excited about attending this event.

Which brings me to the “bad news.” We can only have 100 people attend this year’s TEDxSinCity. It’s actually good news as it means mingling with the speakers, having your questions answered and really connecting with fellow attendees will be possible. The intimacy of a 100 person event truly allows for a kind of energy and networking that doesn’t happen at 500 or 5000 person events.

It’s almost shocking how fast news travels and it’s been delightful to have people approach already asking for a seat.

We know that each and every person who comes to the event will be contributing to it, not just the speakers and staff. It is our intention therefore to truly sculpt the listening into which the presenters will be speaking.

Our ideal attendee is someone who shows up curious and ready to handle exposure to radical new ideas. Someone who brings opinions to share and questions they have the courage to ask.

Most of the seats will be invitation only, however we do want to hear from those of you out there watching our progress, fellow thought leaders ready to join us in spreading these ideas. If you live in Las Vegas or know you will be in Las Vegas May 14th and wish to attend TEDxSinCity you can apply here:

In the mean time, stay tuned and keep leading.
