What Is TEDxSinCity

The mission of TEDxSinCity is to “Evolve, Involve, Solve.”

Humanity has been in a process of evolution since the dawn of our species, and even before. This process is now vastly accelerated as our natural selection is determined not just by our biology, but by the evolution of technology, and our ability to evolve our culture quickly enough to survive the self-created challenges that confront our species.   

We are the first species in history that has the ability to chart the course of our progress and direct our own evolution. We might even be able to speed it up.

If we have the ability to do this, we have the responsibility to do it.

The TEDxSinCity event brings together a group of cutting edge thought leaders from around the world, who have bold ideas for the next steps in human evolution.

In keeping with the mission of TED, we think these are Ideas Worth Spreading.
